Delta has been at the heart of the Channel Islands’ events scene for over 20 years. The company has grown from hiring small PA and lighting systems from a chicken shed to housing the latest technical equipment, staging, decorations and props in three large warehouses.

Alex is a Delta Technician who has worked his way up the ranks. He came on board six years ago through the Advance to Work Scheme and is now one our talented tech team.

When he joined Delta, Alex didn’t have any technical knowledge but he did have a keen interest in the industry and that interest was fed by our team to help him develop into a Delta Senior Production Technician.

Alex has trained in all aspects of the technical side of the production business. He is equally at home working with a band on a digital sound desk, vision mixing cameras for a corporate conference or programming moving lighting desks for a party.

We think he is a rare talent. Alex has an innate understanding of what goes into events and how to take a great event and make it even better.



Bradley loves music and is a pretty damn fine DJ! Having completed a Music Production Course in Liverpool, his understanding of music,  skill on the decks and love of audio come together with his other technical skills to give Delta’s clients top-notch sound production.

As one of Delta’s Production Technicians, Bradley enjoys working closely with our clients onsite and while he has only been with Delta for two years he has become an indispensible member of the team. Brad has great all round technical knowledge and works on many of our corporate conferences, ensuring clients receive superb technical support as well as brilliant customer service.

As you’d expect for a DJ, Bradley’s favourite bit of kit is the CDJ Nexus 2000 and the Pioneer 900 mixer.



Craig has worked in the events industry for nearly two decades and is Delta’s Chief Video Engineer. He leads all aspects of  video projects which can be anything from designing and delivering the very best HD projection systems, to training staff and maintaining all of Delta’s equipment.

As well as some of Delta’s most spectacular events, Craig has  been a part of some huge music festivals like Glastonbury. He cites a Prince concert at Hop Farm in 2011 as his all-time career and personal highlight.

As you’d expect for a ‘techie’, Craig regularly attends courses to develop his knowledge and keep his technology skills up to date. Whether it’s rigging, specialised training on video and lighting equipment and health and safety qualifications or getting his forklift and cherry picker driver’s licence, Craig takes his qualifications and training very seriously. He loves to walk into a new venue and see a blank canvas that can be turned it into something  magical for the client.



Cristin, or ‘Crick’ as he is known, co-founded Delta in 1996, having previously worked for the Jersey Opera House and in the UK as a Technician.

As one of the Directors, Crick manages the sales and installation side of Delta’s day-to-day work and he loves live events that involve live streaming, integrating mobile apps and  videoconferencing. Crick is fascinated by how audio-visual technology is a constantly changing world. He is currently looking at ‘Bring Your Own Device’ or BYOD solutions, either for the presenter or for the audience, and web streaming of events where the presenters can go live via Whatsapp or Skype.

His favourite Delta moments are when senior business people express their gratitude for a memorable event and for helping them look and sound their best on stage. He cites Cherie Blair as one of the nicest people has has worked with and Gyles Brandreth as the most entertaining.

For Crick, a corporate Delta event should always sparkle, with the client’s message taking centre stage, and he wants every private event to have the ‘gasp’ factor - surprising and delighting guests when they walk into the venue.



Damian, or Dinx as we call him, has the widest remit of anyone at Delta. First and foremost he oversees the health and safety aspects of our productions and ensures that the entire Delta kit catalogue is maintained correctly. That in itself is no mean feat, but he also contributes to the production team, particularly when we are faced with a particularly complex build.

Aside from his duties as Delta’s Maintenance & Health and Safety Manager, Dinx is also a superb welder and gets involved in building props, such as the incredible giant metal-framed bugs he created for a rainforest-themed ball. He used to be a professional diver and we call upon his underwater skills when installing water props.

Having this kind of talent in the team is what gives Delta an edge in terms of creative event production.



Darren has a degree in Theatre and Performance Technology and has been in the industry for 13 years, having started at the Jersey Arts Centre in 2003. A Project Manager, his role involves looking after events from start to finish, working with clients to enhance their event through the technical and artistic options available at Delta, or working with colleagues to offer new ideas and designs. Darren also manages equipment specifications and organises the logistics of events from a technical point of view.

Using new technology to create something different or unusual is a passion for Darren, and he also enjoys working through complex technical setups – ensuring that everything talks to everything else, in the right order, and fixing things when they don’t! He’ll always go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right and he loves the fact that no two days are the same.



Gatis brings over six years’ events experience to Delta, supported by a degree in Hospitality and Leisure Management. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting Delta’s extensive client portfolio; managing various aspects of the events process, from client liaison to logistics and technical crew support.

Gatis has invaluable sector experience from working on some of Europe’s biggest music and entertainment events, collaborating with big brands such as BMW and Mini Cooper. In these roles, he was responsible for managing every stage of the event process; from bookings and promotion to marketing, set design and sound and visual concept.

With a genuine passion for visual arts and design, Gatis frequently attends industry exhibitions and trade fares to ensure he it on top of the latest trends. His global perspective also brings creative inspiration for new event concepts. With an enthusiasm for shaping and building the business, Gatis is excited about sharing his experience and vision in creating a robust, technical and colourful events experience for clients across Guernsey.



Delta’s Operations Director started with the company over 20 years ago. From humble beginnings painting walls, he has risen through the ranks from Technician to Hire Manager and now directs all of Delta’s operations.

Gibson has day-to-day control of the technical crew and liaises with the project management team, ensuring that every event goes smoothly. Get him talking about past events and he is bound to mention the funeral of Blackburn Football Club owner and former Jersey resident Jack Walker. A sad day for the congregation, but Gibson got to meet several football legends. As you’d expect from someone who has been with the company for so long, Gibson knows every single bit of kit that Delta owns (no small feat). His encyclopaedic knowledge extends to knowing where any piece of equipment is at any given time. Like all the Delta crew, Gibson has very high standards but is very much part of the team. Whether it’s sweeping the warehouse floor or masterminding a gala event, his eye for detail ensures Delta is a well-oiled machine.



Jon has been working in the events industry for 20 years, since completing an Audiovisual Diploma in 1995. His role is a mixture of creative, technical and people skills, realising ideas and bringing them to life. Jon particularly enjoys working with alternative venues that are aligned with an event or breathing new life into a venue or event format. He is also real foodie and believes that the right catering can make a huge difference to an event.

Jon is fascinated by the cocktail of elements coming together in the right way to create an energy that is greater than the sum of its parts - getting this right creates magic.

The Dandelion Project’s events have been great for Jon to work on, where the content is compelling, or even life changing event, and the brief allows him to do what he does best without compromise. He cites the most recent TEDx event at St Pierre Park as a real pleasure to work on, as both the client and the production lead.



Delta’s Project Manager can fix pretty much anything. As a former motorcycle mechanic, we call upon Jonny’s abilities to fix kit and build bespoke props and staging.

Jonny has been with Delta for 10 years and like many of our team he has learnt the business from the bottom up. That means he has a 360° view over each production. He can see a project from all angles - from checking out the venue to the spec, crew and equipment required.

He takes that first overview and vision of an event and helps to translate the client’s wishes into reality. Throughout the whole process he has a calm manner that both our clients and crew love. Seeing the whole process through from the initial brief to packing away the last bit of equipment is what Jonny loves about his job.

Away from his day job, there’s no time for tinkering with motorbikes any more, nowadays Jonny is most likely be found spending time with his son.



Pick up the phone to Delta and it’s likely you’ll speak to Karen first. Like many in the Delta family, she is a long-standing member of the team, having been with the company almost 20 years.

She was one of the first people to join Lloyd and Crick after they founded Delta and as such she knows the company and Delta’s culture inside out. Ask anyone at Delta what Karen does and the reply will be ‘she’s the glue that holds us all together’. Officially she looks after the company finances and provides incredible business support to the management team. 

When she isn’t balancing the books or helping clients and suppliers, Karen can be found in the prop store making sure everything is where it should be!



Lloyd is one of Delta’s Directors and co-owns the company. He honed his digital display skills installing video walls on cruise ships in the ‘90s and has tackled pretty much everything possible in the events industry.

With a background in television, Lloyd truly understands the importance of presentation and communication through the screen. Lloyd is passionate about the party industry, learning his trade at the height of the rave scene. Ibiza is his spiritual home but he is very much part of  the Jersey event industry. We think Lloyd is a bit of a creative genius and he is Delta’s magic maker, conceiving of creative solutions to technical issues that we often face when producing large scale or unusual events.



Margarida is our Creative Events Manager and she brings her passion for all things visual to Delta’s event design process. She is the newest addition to #TeamDelta but boasts 20 years of experience in the creative industry. Margarida trained initially as a fashion and textiles designer and after her graduate show was admired by the designers at Benetton, she moved to Italy to join their design team. One of her proudest career moments was styling photo shoots with the controversial photographer Oliviero Toscani.

Margarida embraced the Italian lifestyle and the opportunity to work for several design studios before returning to Jersey to work in retail visual merchandising. Aside from award-winning retail displays, some of her favourite jobs include making props and decorations for music festivals including Bestival and the Common People, where she has also been part of the creative styling crew.  

It was a natural step for Margarida to take her talent for creative installations into the event business, she is a skilled maker, at her happiest when designing and making props to bring the wow factor to Delta's event production. Margarida’s aim is to make every Delta event memorable and inspiring; She looks forwards to working closely with the technical team to bring her ideas to life for each clients



Mark has worked within the entertainment and production industry for 17 years, most of that time at Delta. His role is that of Technical Manager and he specialises in lighting, rigging and event power, but he is happy to get his hands dirty with whatever is needed. His favourite venue is the Royal Jersey Agricultural & Horticultural Society showground but he enjoys turning any space into a stunning themed event or beautiful, clean-looking wedding or show.

Mark loves working for Delta because of the amazing team he gets to work with and the little extras which make events so exciting. He’s particularly enjoying the sexy new moving lights that Delta has just acquired which produce some stunning results.



Ria is Delta’s Hire Desk Coordinator and keeps the office on track. She is often clients’ first point of contact and she assists Simon and Gibson to keep the Delta operation running smoothly.

Ria has been involved in the industry for over 10 years so she knows the business inside out. No two days at Delta are the same so if Ria isn’t at her desk she might be at an event, checking out a site or meeting with clients.

She loves a mojito (who doesn’t?) and her favourite bit of kit is her mobile phone which is never switched off in case the team need her. Ria has a role in every single Delta event and the team value her support.



Simon is the Delta boss and as Managing Director he has overall responsibility for the company and its 16 full-time staff. From business development, client management, pre-production for events and onsite client rehearsals to staff meetings, business planning and everything in between. He even knows how to wash the dishes!

Simon has over 25 years in the events industry and still recalls his first event in Jersey at Hotel de France. He loves the variety of event spaces on offer in Jersey and Guernsey and further afield he cites the Four Seasons in Geneva, the Westminster Park Plaza, the Hotel Arts in Barcelona and the Fairmont in Monte Carlo as favourites.

Simon is fascinated by the technology now available to the events industry and how that allows the Delta team to offer creative solutions for clients. He also loves working with the people in the industry - the Delta crew, clients and the other service providers who come together as a team to transform a venue. 

Simon’s favourite Delta events are the ones where the client has put their complete faith in the team to deliver something new and is thrilled with the result. For him, the hallmark of a Delta event is how clients are taken care of every step of the way, and because of that collaboration many clients come back to Delta again and again.



Stephen is another friendly face who can often be seen at a Delta event. He is one of our hard-working Technicians and is well known to many of our regular clients.

Stephen can always be relied upon to go above and beyond for clients, both in terms of customer service and his excellent technical skills.  This shines through at big business conferences where our corporate clients demand the highest possible level of service.

Outside of the office, Stephen loves to travel and spread the word about his beloved Liverpool FC. He has travelled extensively in Thailand and is planning his next trip to South America where he plans to climb Machu Picchu in Peru.
